Trail, the Pilot Whale Chalets welcome you in the finest tradition of Acadian
hospitality. Our chalets transport you and your family to peaceful relaxation
and enjoyment of sandy beaches, bountiful salmon and trout rivers, incomparable
scenery, friendly people, traditional music and fantastic food. A cozy
ambiance welcomes you to a two bedroom chalet, tastefully decorated with
four full piece bath and a fireplace to snuggle up in front of on a chilly
evening when the mist rolls in from the Gulf. Whether it’s the Aucoin,
LeLievre, or Chiasson Chalet that you’re checked into, they all command
splendid views of the sea and the mountains.  A
full service, self-contained kitchen allows the chef to prepare light fare,
a tasty sandwich or a gourmet meal for his/her favorite people. If the
barbeque king feels inspired, then the audience moves to the deck to view
the master at work. All you need is your favorite beverage, juicy steaks
and garden greens to pass the afternoon and evening with friends. When
the kids want to watch Cable TV or enjoy a movie, VCRs are available in
each chalet and a selection of free movies can be picked up at the main
desk. If a larger selection is required, there are several video rental
stores within a few minutes’ drive to satisfy your preference. Low allergenic
wood floors are found throughout the chalets and pine furniture add a decorator’s
touch to the surroundings. We’re in a very safe location to allow  making
new friends among the vacationers and local people.. Reserve your cottage
